Motion capture is the process of recording the movements of objects or people. In motion capture sessions, movements of one or more actors are sampled many times per second, recording only the movements of the actor, not his or her visual appearance.
There are several advantages in using this process: complex movement and realistic physical interactions such as secondary motions, weight and exchange of forces can be easily recreated in a physically accurate manner. Furthermore, the amount of animation data that can be produced within a given time is extremely large when compared to traditional animation techniques.
Augmented reality (AR) is a live, direct or indirect, view of a physical, real-world environment whose elements are augmented (or supplemented) by computer-generated sensory input such as sound, video, graphics or GPS data. As a result, the technology functions by enhancing one’s current perception of reality. This is clearly different from virtual reality, which replaces the real world with a simulated one.
Augmentation is conventionally in real-time and in semantic context with environmental elements. With the help of advanced AR technology (e.g. adding computer vision and object recognition) the information about the surrounding real world of the user becomes interactive and digitally manipulable. Artificial information about the environment and its objects can be overlaid on the real world
INTERACTIVE AIR SCREEN
This interactive system allows the projection of an image or a video on any traditional surface without actually touching it, giving the user the full control of the experience. A specific detection system of human movement will then allow him to interact with the presentation. Therefore, the user will be able to control the virtual screen and chance shapes, color, products size, and further modify the view of what is in front of him, both in an inside or outside environment.

WJP focuses on images projection on a vaporized water cloud in the distance.
Thanks to a flow of air turbulence free, and ultrasound waves, chemical free natural water creates a cool cloud with a dry touch feel. This wall of water mist leaves no trace on clothes or skin when approached.
Images are then directly projected on the water cloud, furthering allowing the possibility of interaction with the users.
